The carbon tax will go up 23% across Canada on April 1, which translates into 3.3 cents per litre of gasoline at the pumps.

But, after holding fairly steady in March, prices went up by more than 10 cents a litre overnight in Kamloops, Kelowna and Penticton.

Only Vernon prices stayed the same overnight but they went up nine cents a litre last Friday.

Kamloops stations ranged from $1.64.9 to $1.67.9 for the last 10 days but most stations rose to $1.74.9 today, March 28.

Costco, as usual, was the exception, showing $1.61.9 this morning on Gasbuddy.com.
